Ambedkar Nagar : To conduct the Lok Sabha elections peacefully, borders will be sealed at 35 places in the district before voting. Internal barriers will also be made at about one and a half dozen places. Intensive investigation campaign will be conducted at all these places, so that no suspicious or outsider is allowed to enter. The police have also ordered seven new drone cameras to keep an eye on every activity.
Voting is to be held in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections in the district on May 25. For this, the police administration has started making rapid arrangements. Most attention is being given to ensure that the boundaries of the district are duly sealed before voting. For this, the police has decided to seal the border at a total of 35 places in the police station areas like Bewana, Bhiti, Ahirauli, Ibrahimpur, Tanda, Aliganj, Rajesultanpur, Alapur, Katka, Jaitpur, Mahrua, Jalalpur and Malipur. After marking these places, policemen will set up barriers there.
One inspector and four constables will be deployed at each barrier. They will keep an eye on every vehicle and person as soon as the border is sealed. No unauthorized person will be allowed to enter the district. Also, a watch will be kept on weapons and other suspicious items. Along with this, one internal barrier will also be installed in each police station area. Policemen deployed here will also keep an eye on vehicles and other activities.
ASP Western Vishal Pandey said that 18 other police teams will also be active in each police station area. To strengthen the security arrangements, the police administration recently ordered seven new drone cameras here. A drone camera was already present here. Five COs and two ASPs will be accompanied by one drone camera, so that every activity in different areas can be closely monitored.
SP Dr. Kaustubh said that along with sealing the borders, very strict security arrangements will be made. There will be adequate security personnel at all the barriers. All of them will have wireless and other modern facilities. This will allow quick exchange of any information.
