On behalf of JVK organization, ambulances of Animal Husbandry Department and Health Department are being operated here in the district. In this, six ambulances of Animal Husbandry Department and 58 ambulances of Health Department are operating in the district, which includes 26-26 ambulances of 102 and 108 and four advanced life support ambulances. Complaints about ambulance fraud have been going on for a long time, but due to the benevolence of the health department officials, they avoided taking action.
Ambulance is faked by calling Asha. Or the attendants of old patients who had called in the past have been scammed by showing the mobile numbers by showing lakhs of rupees in the name of diesel and repairs. An ambulance is required to make 30 trips per day. To achieve this goal, those responsible put pressure on the employees and committed fraud and ambulances were kept running on the roads without patients. The employees made the ambulance run by making a fake phone call. After a lot of struggle, these complaints were investigated by the team.
To investigate the complaint of fraud in ambulance trips, CMO Dr. Raj Kumar had formed a team to verify the ambulance operation and callers. The team included ACMO Dr. Ramanand Siddharth, Dr. Markandeya, Deputy CMO Dr. Gautam Mishra. The CMO said that the complaint has been confirmed in the investigation. It is known how many employees are involved in this. The investigation report will be sent to the District Magistrate soon.
Six ambulances in the Animal Husbandry Department are operated by JVK organization. There has been a complaint of fraudulent running of three vehicles. Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. NP Singh, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Devendra Kumar have talked to many cattle farmers on phone regarding the complaint. In this, from January to April, CDO Anuraj Jain has summoned the files related to the treatment of animals of a total of 557 cattle farmers for investigation.
The ambulance operation is being supervised by Deputy CMO and Nodal Dr. Gautam Mishra posted in the CMO office. The indifference of the nodal officer has also come to light in this fraud. It is being told that he did not discharge his responsibilities properly.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Raj Kumar said that irregularities have been found in the investigation of ambulance trips. The investigation report has been submitted to the District Magistrate. After this, legal action will be taken against the culprits.
