Ambedkar Nagar : The killers killed the young man and threw the body in the field. There was a sensation when a three to four day old dead body was found. The deceased could not be identified as the body was mutilated and the police sent the body for post-mortem. The body of a man of about 40 years was found in the harvested wheat field of Ram Jiyavan, resident of Babhanpur, Masena Mirzapur, at some distance from the village in Baharampur, Alapur, about 200 meters from Chahoda Road.
On Sunday morning, workers who had gone to harvest wheat in another field a short distance away, went to that side to drink water and saw the dead body of a person lying face down. People came to know about it and informed the police. Area Officer Ram Bahadur Singh arrived on the spot. Inspector-in-charge Rakesh Kumar reached the spot with the police team and tried to identify the deceased but could not be identified.
The circumstances of the spot seemed to indicate that the deceased was murdered and the body was thrown there. The half lower and shirt on his body were in the form of rotten rags and some parts of his body had been scratched by animals. Due to which the face and other parts were mutilated.
Villagers told that last Friday threshing work was going on in the nearby fields and there was nothing there, which gives strength to the fact that the young man was murdered and his body was brought here and thrown.
