Died on the way to the district hospital
Ambedkar Nagar: A young man who was going home on a bike after closing his shop was hit by a Bolero late on Friday evening. because of this he was heavily wounded. He died on the way to the district hospital. The police caught the vehicle that collided.
Rohit (28), a resident of Lohra, used to work as a personal worker at a hardware shop located on Pahitipur Road in Akbarpur Nagar. After the shop closed late on Friday evening, he left for home on his bike. He had reached a short distance when a speeding Bolero hit him. Due to this he fell on the road and suffered serious injuries on his body. The young man was wearing a helmet but it went off his head.
Local people informed the police about the incident. On the other hand, people took Rohit to a private hospital, where after first aid he was sent to the district hospital. He was being taken to the district hospital when he died on the way. Police reached the spot and took the vehicle into custody. While the driver managed to escape leaving the vehicle behind. Police sends dead body for post-mortem.
