Tanda-Maya Main Road Will Be 23 Meters Wide



Ambedkar Nagar : The construction of four lane Tanda-Maya road leading to the religious city of Ayodhya will accelerate after the elections. In the construction of four lanes at a cost of Rs 375 crore, the total width of the road will be about 23 meters, which at present is only seven meters. Its construction will make it easier for people not only from Ambedkar Nagar but also from other surrounding districts to go to Ayodhya.


The days of Tanda-Maya State Highway-30A route are going to be prosperous. The government had taken a decision in this regard even before the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections was imposed. Approximately 33.50 km from Tanda to Maya. It's a long road. Its length in the district is 19.5 km. While it is 14 km. The road is in Ayodhya district. At present the width of this road is only seven meters.


Through this route, devotees not only from Tanda and surrounding areas but also from neighboring districts Basti, Azamgarh, Sant Kabirnagar, Gorakhpur go to Ayodhya. After the consecration of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, the traffic of devotees has increased through this route. Keeping in view the interest of the passengers, it was decided to increase the width of this road in the east to 10 meters.


Later, in February, the PWD office had provided the assessment report to the government for the construction of four lanes. The government also approved the construction of four lanes even before the code of conduct came into effect. 19.5 km in Ambedkarnagar district. The four-lane length will be constructed at a cost of Rs 375 crore. Seven and a half kilometers on both sides from the middle of the road. Will be the width. There will be a divider of two and a half meters while a two and a half meter track will be constructed on both sides of the road.


Saurabh Singh, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department (Provincial Division) told Rainbow News that the four lane is to be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 375 crore. The government has also given its approval. The construction process will start after the elections are over.
