Ambedkar Nagar : To save herself from being beaten by the bullies, the girl jumped into the Saryu river located in Sahajori village. After the failure of the divers, the SDRF team was deployed to search for her but the girl could not be traced till late Wednesday evening.
A day earlier on Tuesday, village resident Moinuddin was bursting crackers with his friends in Sahjora village of Ibrahimpur police station area. It is said that on this Fatima (17) daughter of Mohammad Ahmed refused to burst crackers in front of the house.
It is alleged that the opposition attacked him on this. Fatima ran away from there to save herself. Seeing the attackers coming from behind, the girl jumped into the Saryu river to save herself. This created a stir on the spot. Seeing the opportunity, the attackers ran away from there.
