Ambedkar Nagar : A case of cheating people by posing as an employee of DPRO office has come to light. Ibrahimpur police has registered a case against unknown person. The search for the culprits has been started through surveillance.
Senior Assistant of the District Panchayat Raj Officer's office, Mohammad Raees, gave a complaint and said that a call was made from a mobile phone to get the marriage hall approved in the village panchayats like Maheshpur, Gauhaniya, Karimnagar and Sahnemau.
In this the fraudster described himself as a rich employee of the DPRO office. A demand of Rs 25 to 30 thousand was made from each village head or his representatives. The fraudster was also successful in extorting money from many people.
Meanwhile, as soon as the information was received, the officials decided to register a case in the matter. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against unknown person.
